Tips to be Happy

Do you find yourself going through life wondering when your job, relationship, or whatever else you are unhappy about is going to get better? What if I told you don’t have wait around looking for happiness to come knocking at your door? I have 10 tips on how you can be happy right now!

Tips to be Happy

  1. Meditation – Everyday you have the choice to wake up and do the same routine over and over, unhappy. Or you can change your morning or nightly routine by meditating.

  2. Walk – Go for a walk when you are stressed, upset, or unhappy. You will be surprised at how a simple 15-minute walk can change your mood instantly

  3. Friends – If nothing else works, go out have fun with friends! Get your mind off of whatever is making you unhappy.

  4. Do something nice for someone else – doing something for someone else, even just paying for someone’s coffee or volunteering for charity, makes you feel better because you are helping someone else.

  5. Gratitude list – This is a MUST DO everyday for a mood booster. It makes you realize how many amazing things are actually going great in your life. When you start appreciating the good things that are already in your life, more greatness will automatically come to you.! I wrote out a gratitude list everyday for 30 days and it changed my life! Made me realize how much I have to be grateful for and new job opportunities kept coming my way.

  6. Yoga Try at least 10 minutes of yoga 3 times a week. According to science, Yoga has the power to help depression and anxiety

  7. Affirmations – Looking to improve your mind while you are sleeping? Listen to some affirmations while you are asleep. Listening to affirmations at night reprograms your subconscious mind and makes you start to believe the affirmations. I know life can be busy with job and kids, but you have the opportunity to change your happiness while you are sleeping! You have nothing to lose and only greatness will come to you.

  8. Find a mentor – Sometimes finding happiness is as simple as finding a mentor. Helping to guide you to keep you on track with you job, relationship, increasing money, or whatever else you are stressed about. Try reaching out to someone on Facebook or YouTube to find a mentor.

  9. Take action to one thing each day – Focus on today and what one thing you can accomplish today that will help you. Instead of going on Facebook for 20 minutes could you do a quick workout? Or apply to a new dream job you have always wanted. Taking one small action step a day could get you into the best shape of your life or land you that dream job

  10. Do something for yourself each day – Taking time for yourself is hard, especially with little ones running around. It’s time to make YOU a priority. The only person that can change your life is you! Start today by doing someone for yourself, even as simple as reading, crochet, crafting, taking a class, or anything else that makes you happy. Aim for at least 10 minutes a day
